各位暹罗大学的同学们，宋干节来临之际，再次提醒大家
1. 学校的放假时间： 
2023年4月8日到2023年4月17日
2. 离境泰国的同学
往返签：离境泰国的学生请一定要在离境前，办理好往返签证，并且在签证到期前返回泰国。
九十天报到：如果回国或者去其他国家旅游，从最新入境泰国日起开始计算90天。
3. 在泰国的同学，请保护好护照 。
4. 在国内的同学，如果需要申请返校文件办理留学签证，请2023年4月18号申请。

假期前后泰国多地将举行泼水狂欢等系列活动庆祝这一最重要的泰历节日。同时，宋干节也是每年各种事故高发时段，假期中无论出游、回家、还是在宿舍的同学都一定要注意安全！在此提醒如下：

一、遵守交通法规，确保出行安全
宋干节假期人员、车辆出行密集，交通事故多发，请在泰中国留学人员务必提高交通安全意识，确保平安出行。泰国车辆右舵左行，与国内驾驶习惯相反，过马路时请多加小心。“摩的”及嘟嘟车虽快捷方便，但缺乏必要安全保护，请谨慎选乘。如乘坐出租车，应事先确认打表计费，并记下车牌和司机执照号码，乘坐过程中保管好随身物品。建议不要在泰租驾汽车、摩托车，如确需租驾，应持有泰国驾照或国际驾照。注意不要将护照等重要证件抵押给商家，以免影响后续行程。

二、小心个人财物，注意防盗防抢
宋干节期间也是偷窃案件多发时段，请在泰中国留学人员务必提高安全意识，加强风险防范。请勿随身携带大量现金，妥善保管好证件和贵重物品，避免独自前往僻静区域活动或深夜外出。如被盗被抢，请立即报警。

三、文明参与泼水，展现良好形象
请自觉遵守宋干节活动秩序，文明泼水。参加泼水庆祝活动时，请不要向老人、孕妇、婴儿和执勤警察、摄像记者等特殊人群泼水。根据泰国警方规定，严禁使用不卫生的水源或用热水、冰块参与泼水，不要使用高压水枪参与泼水。

四、做好疫情防护，守护健康安全
当前疫情尚未结束，请在泰中国留学人员继续做好个人防护，同时注意防范登革热和疟疾。如出现发烧、咳嗽、肌肉酸痛等症状，请及时前往医院就医。

Dear all Siam University students, on the occasion of Songkran, we would like to remind you once again
1. The school holiday period:
April 8, 2023 to April 17, 2023
2. For students departing Thailand
Round-trip visa: Students leaving Thailand must apply for a round-trip visa before leaving the country and return to Thailand before the visa expires.
90 days to report: If returning to your home country or traveling to another country, 90 days will be counted from the date of your latest entry into Thailand.
3. For students in Thailand, please protect your passport.
4. For those who are in the country, if you need to apply for a return document for a student visa, please apply on April 18, 2023.

This most important Thai calendar festival will be celebrated around the holidays with a series of events such as water splashing carnivals in many parts of Thailand. Also, Songkran is a time of the year when accidents are at their peak! We would like to remind the following:
1. Observe traffic regulations to ensure travel safety
During Songkran holiday, people and vehicles travel intensively and traffic accidents are common. Thai vehicles are right-handed and left-handed, contrary to domestic driving habits, so please be more careful when crossing the road. "Motorbikes and tuk-tuks are quick and convenient, but they lack the necessary safety protection, so please choose them carefully. If you take a cab, you should confirm the metered fare in advance, write down the license plate and driver's license number, and keep your belongings safe during the ride. It is not recommended to rent or drive a car or motorcycle in Thailand. If you do need to rent a car or motorcycle, you should have a Thai driver's license or an international driver's license. Be careful not to pledge your passport and other important documents to the merchant, so as not to affect the subsequent trip.

2. Be careful with your personal belongings and pay attention to theft and robbery
During the Songkran Festival, there are many theft cases, so please make sure that Chinese students in Thailand are more aware of the risks. Please do not carry large amounts of cash with you, keep your documents and valuables safe, and avoid going out alone in secluded areas or late at night. If you are robbed or stolen, please report to the police immediately.

3, civilized participation in water splashing, show a good image
Please consciously observe the order of Songkran activities and splash water in a civilized manner. When participating in the water splashing celebration, please do not splash water on the elderly, pregnant women, babies, police officers on duty, camera reporters and other special people. According to Thai police regulations, it is strictly forbidden to use unhygienic water sources or to use hot water or ice to participate in water splashing, and do not use high-pressure water guns to participate in water splashing.

4、Protect yourself from the epidemic and keep your health safe
As the epidemic is not yet over, Chinese students in Thailand are advised to continue to take good personal protection and pay attention to dengue fever and malaria. If you have symptoms such as fever, cough or muscle pain, please go to the hospital for medical treatment in time.
